Film topics in the program include acting for the camera, animation, screen-writing, movie making, auditioning, and how to function as part of a film crew.  Please consult the Theatre School Brochure for full course descriptions.

The work of MTYP’s regular instructors is enhanced by the work of guest artists from Winnipeg’s growing film industry.  Many young people have been asked to audition for local films after taking a film class at MTYP, where they had a chance to meet and learn from professional film directors and casting directors.

Every film student at MTYP will receive a DVD copy of his or her class work free of charge.
