About Our Courses
The 22-week course
The Fall Session offers the widest range of study options. Every September, 22week courses commence, offering creative adventures in Acting for Stage and Screen, Musical Theatre, Movie-Making, Collective Creation, Comedy Improvisation, and Dramatic Movement.
The 10-week course
Shorter sessions of 10 weeks begin in September, January, and April. 10-week sessions include Musical Theatre, Improv Comedy, Introduction to Acting, Puppetry, and Animation.
The 4-day half-day or full-day camp
Summer and Spring Break Camps are full or half-day intensive experiences for actors age 5-18. Campers adapt a story for performance and stage it, complete with costumes and props of their own design, for an invited audience of family and friends.

Extra-curricular Activities
The experience of actors-in-training at MTYP’s Theatre School is enhanced by special rates on tickets to mainstage shows and participation in many special events and festivals throughout the year. Some of these special programs include 24/7: A Playwrighting Festival for Teens and MTYP’s Family Fun Day.
