Jessee Havey
Jessee is what we call an MTYP “lifer”. Since she began taking classes here at the age of nine, Jessee has appeared in four main stage productions: Jacob Two-Two Meets The Hooded Fang (1997), The Hobbit (1999), Pippi Longstocking (2002), and Honk! (2007), as well as several theatre school productions when she was younger.
Her time at MTYP was interrupted only by a 5-year adventure as lead singer for a band called The Duhks, with whom she recorded three CD’s, made two music videos, received a Juno Award and a Grammy Award nomination. She then clicked her heels together three times, said “There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home…”, and woke up back at MTYP! | |
